The raw legislative data used on this platform, including the text of bills, member biographies, and roll-call votes, is sourced from official United States Government feeds (Congress.gov) and public filings (FEC). These works are in the public domain and not subject to copyright.
2. Proprietary Data and Algorithms
While the raw data is public domain, Politique's unique processing, including but not limited to:
- The "Conflict Score" methodology and chamber percentiles;
- The "Political Fingerprint" vector mapping;
- The visual design and code of the platform;
is the proprietary intellectual property of Politique.
3. Usage of Generated Assets
Users are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide license to share and distribute Match Cards and Conflict Receipts generated by the platform for personal, non-commercial use, provided the Politique branding and source attribution remain intact and the data is not modified.
4. DMCA Notice and Takedown
If you believe that any content on Politique infringes upon your copyright, please send a notice to legal@politique.space containing: (a) a description of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; and (c) your contact information.
